You are a yoga teacher and practitioner. You have someone who is interested in
private yoga sessions with you. What do you do? A private yoga session is different
from a group practice. In a private, you tune your instrument, in a class, you play
for the symphony! This workshop is focused on training teachers to work with
privates. Learn Katonah techniques to precisely read and adjust your private
students. We will cover a basic structure for sequencing and organising a session to
best serve the needs of different types of students. You will gain hands-on
experience to gain confidence through applied knowledge.
Yoga can be radical and revelatory. Saturate yourself in the development of a
versatile practice that can be translated and augmented through whatever yoga
you already know. Learn how to use props, straps, and adjustments to evolve your
practice and teaching. Confidence is based on competency, which is rooted in

WHAT TO EXPECT?
Every day includes a vigorous asana practice, immersive pranayama, and hands-
on, open format workshops to explicate Katonah Yoga theory.Students will leave this training full of new information, both embodied and
theoretical, for amplifying their practice and teaching others. Katonah Yoga
concepts easily translate and augment other styles of yoga practice. We hope
that participants will be inspired to overlay our syncretic material with the lineage
they already have mastered. This training is intended to invigorate and stimulate
one's teacherly creativity, as well as give people an experience of a bold,
dynamic body of theory.
As a teacher, Dages prizes clarity, compassion and depth of practice. She
emphasizes open transmission of knowledge and draws from a wide and various
background in yoga, dance, herbalism, language arts, and academic theory.
850 EUR (early bird: 750 EUR before September 30th, 2019)
Payment of full rate is required when registering.
875 EUR with a Payment Plan: Payment of 250 EUR is required when registering,
Balance of 625 EUR is due on or before November 10, 2019.
Cancellations are valid up to 30 days prior to the training with a 50% refund.
