KATONAH YOGA® was founded by Nevine Michaan, and is a Hatha yoga practice refined over forty years, blended with Taoist theory, sacred geometries, pranayama, and meditation.

DAGES JUVELIER KEATES is recognized as senior teacher in the Katonah Yoga methodology developed over the past forty years by Nevine Michaan. She has recently published a seminal text on the Katonah Yoga practice, “Radical Acts of Embodiment”

You have had a taste of Katonah theory. You have students you want to support. How do you do it? Katonah Yoga informed adjustments can be deployed specifically in group and private student situations. This workshop will introduce you to core Katonah Yoga practices and philosophy of restorative and therapeutic adjustments. Expect rigorous practice, hands on adjustments, exploration of restorative set ups, and alchemical pranayama. Learn Katonah Yoga techniques to precisely read and adjust your students in all settings. We will cover a basic structure for sequencing and organizing a session to best serve the needs of different types of students. You will gain hands-on experience to gain confidence through applied knowledge.

This training will be small and personal, enabling each participant to get the information that will best support them in empowering others. Specific questions can be emailed to Dages in advance, or feel free to bring in your real life examples for mentoring.
