Home Practice: 10 Hour
When we step onto our mat in class, we are guided into a practice that hopefully leaves us feeling more connected to our mind, body, and breath. Our group classes fulfill and encourage us in a multitude of ways — connection to a community, a practice, and movement of energy. Having a routine home practice is even more essential. It is the secret to the longevity of the body and the practice. It’s what allows us to gain a different perspective on our body’s — a deeper connection to self and a practice more attuned to our needs. Although a home practice can be harder to fit into our lives sometimes, it is an essential part. Christy will help you develop the tools and techniques to cultivate your own home practice so that you might find a greater sense of your own health and well-being.
Christy Maskeroni is a Certified Yoga + Katonah Yoga® Teacher, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and owner of Alula Collective in Dallas, TX. She has been working with various forms of movement and bodies for over 14 years. Christy relocated to Texas after over a decade in NYC where she began studying and practicing Katonah Yoga with Abbie Galvin and Nevine Michaan. She continues to explore this practice and feels incredibly lucky to have discovered this material and continue to explore and share what she has learned with others.
