  • Restorative Reset: A 5hr Online Training Unfolding into the New Year w Alice York

    Saturday + Sunday, January 17th-18th

    In this 5-hour training, we’ll explore using external support such as blocks and bolsters, to boost internal wellbeing. Through supported poses and breathing and meditation techniques, we’ll organize the body and mind, creating space for insight and intentions towards the year ahead.

    This training is both professionally and personally oriented: whether you want to utilize the material to expand your teaching or simply resolve to approach yourself more tenderly in the new year, this offering is designed for both teachers and students of yoga, and any and all levels of the practice.

  • Going Underground: A 5hr ONLINE Foot + Ankle Mobility Training w Michael Torrant

    Saturday + Sunday, February 21st-22nd

    Spend 5 hours tidying up and organizing your foundation through a functional mobility and self-myofascial release workshop infused with the metaphor and dialogue of Katonah Yoga. We will use familiar shapes and measures to find new and novel ways of cleaning things up. Cross referencing a structural approach to the body with the esoterics of Katonah Yoga provides fertile soil to establish new roots.

    Some light discussion on anatomy and biotensegrity will begin each session. A self- bodyread will be utilized to help inform individualized practice and we will use the magic square to help rewire the feet after mobility and myofascial work. Care will be taken to integrate each session into the hips and the rest of the body. Katonah breathwork and restorative postures will conclude each day.

  • 30hr Katonah Yoga Training w Nevine Michaan, Willis Johnston, Kyle Miller, Josie Schweizter + Harriet Schreger
